Storyboarding is a critical, and often under-valued, part of the production pipeline. It's the first step the words on the script take to becoming images on a screen, and a good storyboard can save countless hours (and dollars) of revisions or reshoots by conveying the director or client's vision before a single frame of footage is filmed.
